Hudson River Hornets

6TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 6th grade as of October 1, 2011 and can be no older than 13 on August 31, 2012. For an athlete that is in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2011 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 12 on August 31, 2012.

Erik brings extensive experience, knowledge and coaching tenure of 16 plus years to the program.

Currently Erik is the Dobbs Ferry High School Girls Varsity Head Coach, who were league champions for the 2007 season. 2004 thru 2006 Erik coached Boys Modified Dobbs Ferry Middle School team and 1998 thru 2003 Boys Varsity Dobbs Ferry High School team.

In 2000 Erik was the Assistant Coach for the Boys Scholastic Team that competed in the Empire State Games. His team also brought home three League County championships in 1998, 1999 & 2000 and 2 County Conference Final Four appearances.

During the last 2 years, Erik became involved with AAU as he felt the importance to teach the fundamentals to younger athletes. Erik was the Head Coach of the Division I 9U and Division II 10U girls teams.
 
The 9U DI team were the Metro Regional Champions which earned them a place at the National Championship in Ft Meyers, FL where they placed 9th in the nation.

The 10U DII team represented the Metro Region at the National Championship in Orlando, FL where they placed 5th in the nation.

Erik lives in Pearl River with his family, which include three lovely daughters and is actively involved with the St. Margarets CYO program.

Erik serves as the Hudson River Hornets Program Development Coordinator and Head Coach of the 11U Girls team.
